To celebrate the illustrious AA award of 5 stars and 2 rosettes, we are creating a new lunch time experience from Thursday the 17th of May.
Whether you fancy our Sea bream with mussel and saffron cream, hand cut chips with aioli, steak pie or lamb shoulder with mint mash, you can taste it all. The tasting plates will be designed to share, and you will be able to experience lots of our mouth-watering dishes at the same time. Small plates will start from £3 and cost no more than £8.50.
If you would prefer a more traditional style lunch service, we will have our daily market menu available. Dinner will remain the same, in terms of serving style, with starters, mains, desserts and lots more! However, a new menu will be launched at the same time as the tasting plates concept.
To enable us to produce these wonderful dishes for your tasting pleasure, we will be closing all day Tuesday and Wednesday from the 15th of May. This means we will not be open for lunch or dinner on a Tuesday and Wednesday from this date.

Whether it's lunch or dinner in the Restaurant & Grill we offer a relaxed dining experience in a comfortable atmosphere. Think succulent steaks with hand cut chips, roasted loin of venison with red wine jus or even fish and chips with a glass of kiwi sauvignon and you’ve got the picture. We never compromise on quality and every component of each dish is lovingly prepared in our kitchens.
Served in the elegant surroundings of our Restaurant & Grill, we offer both an A la carte menu, express classic mains menu and an exceptionally priced Market menu which is £19.90 for two courses and £23.90 for three. Ideal for that important business meeting or leisurely lunch with friends. Lunch served Thursday to Monday 12 till last orders 2pm.

We have many different private dining options at Glenskirlie and can provide private dining from 16 to 156 guests. Whatever your event rest assured we have the perfect space to make your occasion a memorable one. In our Restaurant we can offer an extensive choice within the menus and can cater for private dining from 16 to 56 guests, giving a truly gourmet experience.
In the Castle we have two options; we can offer relaxed private dining for up to forty guests within the unique setting of the stained glass room, which is complemented by an open kitchen, or the Castle main banqueting suite, a completely self contained facility with its own entrance, bar and gardens which can cater for between 50 to 126 guests. The House banqueting suite is also a completely private facility and can cater from 30 guests to 156 with different sized rooms ensuring it’s the perfect size for you.
The Restaurant offers for parties of 10 and over a table d’hote menu which consists of 3 courses and includes coffee from £23 for lunch or £29.99 for dinner or if you prefer we can offer our full a la carte menu to your guests. The restaurant can cater for up to 56 guests for private dining and the minimum number for private dining in the original end of our dining room is 16 guests. Your special occasion your choice!
What could be more unique than your own private event in Scotland’s only boutique style 21st century castle? Whether you would like a sit down meal or a more relaxed buffet option we can cater for both options in Castle private dining. We have two different options in the castle which have completely private facilites, the Stained Glass room which has an open kitchen and drinks reception room with a separate dining area for up to 40 guests or the main Banqueting Room which can cater for up to 126 guests.
The most exclusive of our private venues, the House is a completely self contained private dining facility that exudes Edwardian charm with lots of modern twists. The whole facility is completely private and we can cater from 30 guests to 156, whether you would like a formal sit down meal, buffet or our barbecue fork buffet in the summer months, rest assured it will be a truly memorable occasion for all your guests.
"In 1982 my wife Linda and I opened Glenskirlie House - I was the chef and Linda was the waitress. Being the original chef makes me the perfect person to see the progress of Glenskirlie food over the years. I may have hung up my chef's hat over 10 years ago, but it pleases me to see that the Glenskirlie food ethos has never wavered. We use local produce which is lovingly prepared, then cooked and presented with flair. This is what Glenskirlie is all about and it makes me feel proud that our team of chefs has continued this tradition, constantly pushing the boundaries of modern cuisine in both taste and presentation.
